Last year booked a flight out to Las Vegas to take my 2 daughters to see their cousins during Christmas break. 2 weeks prior to trip there was a passing in the family. Their grandfathers passing. They were incredibly emotional over the passing. I decided to cancel the flight not knowing when the funeral might be or whether or not my kids emotional state would be suitable for travel and being around others. I canceled knowing that I would be credited, not refunded. That was fine, I plan to travel but to dictate how that money is used is unreal!!! I have to use the money towards each person that was booked towards that flight. This to me is unreal and makes absolutely no sense at all. All I wanted was for the points or money to be credited to my name. Someone please explain how this is such a big deal???
