After a helpful, professional and polite conversation with Peter Carter (and some one else prior to that) I was given an appt with a Senior Assoc Sam Smith which could not have been more dismissive. I went to the meeting prepared for questions that were never asked, with vital evidence that he wasn't interested in seeing. He couldnt seem to grasp the enormity of the medical negligence, trauma, suicide, and grief I have and are enduring. It was a difficult time for me, three days after another hospital stay - I am emotionally, financially, and physically drained. I received no empathy and a complete lack of interest - which shocked and disorientated me as I had such a positive conversation with Peter Carter and was under the impression from that, that I had a case and they wanted to help me. Every time I asked intelligent questions I was rebuffed. He didn't appear to know important information I had already given (twice) and was referring to his notes a few sentences long - for my complicated case. After telling me to think it over again (something I'd already been doing nonstop for over 2 months while waiting for the appt) and he would put our meeting into writing and email me, I left. I cried. I have now been waiting 6 weeks for that email (my polite query regarding it, has been ignored). I am at a complete loss as to why someone already suffering trauma would be treated so poorly, and not even sent the basic professional follow up email.
