I’ve used right:ratio for hospice for my older Pitbulls. I know it works! When my daughter told me her kitten was twitching. We did every test recommended by a veterinary neurologist. Simba, a 9 month old kitten, with facial seizures, was on phenobarbital and keppra for months with barely any change even on the highest doses. He is now only on right:ratio and is doing so much better. His seizures aren't gone but they are definitely less often and less intense. His quality of life has improved greatly. I’m relieved we don’t have to worry about any toxic doses of drugs he would have to take for life. I know a lot of animals need seizure meds but for Simba right: rato was the way to thrive! Here is Simba (orange and white cat) with his brother, T’Challa. Living their best lives!!
Thank you Regina for sending the picture of Simba and the news that his seizure frequency is reduced. Most importantly, being able to reduce then stop his use of the common pharmaceuticals for pet seizures is great news to avoid exposing Simba to any potential long-term side effects.
