I had 3 surgeries in my left eye to reduce pressure. That resulted in substantial vision loss. I watched on youtube, the Alternative current treatment offered by Savir Center in Magdeburg, Germany for vision restoration. The Video was about a gentleman from New York who regained significant vision. The idea of nerve stimulation through electrical energy was more appealing (my background is in engineering) than a any other approach. After 2 weeks treatment I felt and saw, in the diagnostic charts, some improvements, 20-25 percent. I had the opportunity to talk to several of my fellow patients who came from different countries. I had asked them two questions . How did they hear about the institute, most common answer was from the internet, and how they felt about their vision improvements. Most of them were very satisfied and were visiting 2nd time because of big improvements in their vision. Their common theme was that it took one to 3 months of restoring substantial vision and they were returning for additional benefits. The way things are going right nw for me I expect to be back in September, 2020 or so.
The staff of Savir is well qualified and extremely professional. Very helpful. They help in breathing practices and eye exercises, a crucial aspect of homework.
I am writing this review not only to express my sincere appreciation for the doctors who answered patiently a long list of my questions to improve my knowledge on the subject and as a civic responsibility to let other patients like me know about this treatment and who could benefit from others experiences.
