Did KGL with advenchar, trek start date was on 3rd of Aug. We were offered worst possible food, torn sleeping bags, no hot water for drinking, no water dispenser. No camp lights. Our issues started as soon as we landed in Srinagar with a slight change in itinerary. We were made to stay at sringar instead of sonmarg. Next day morning we got up and travelled for 3 hours and then we were served only bread as breakfast and made to trek. Next surprise came when we were reaching the army camp. Our trek permission was taken with one of the participants as a trek lead. And the actual trek lead portrayed himself as cook. I strongly feel this is done to wash off responsibility in case of any issues. There was no name of advenchar or any one belonging to advenchar in the permit. Same bread was repeated the next day. And the pack lunch was half cooked rice. The third day break was cornflakes. And one of the days we had got half cooked rotis that too 2 rotis per person. In general there was no common tent, no water dispenser. If asked for hot water drinking the reply was "gas katham hojayenga". One out of 6 sleeping bags was torn, one without a zip. Overall it's one of the worst experience. I would never in my life go with these guys. Moreover, we didn't even get a call from Swena to enquire about the trek.
