COSTLY AND STRESSFUL COSTLY, STRESSFUL AND UPSETTING EXPERIENCE!!!! This company caused us a lot of heartache, stress and extra costs. Very friendly and helpful when discussing your intended move and quick enough to take your money. However it’s a different story when it comes to the actual move. Office said they would tell us when crew would arrive but they didn’t. Crew were very friendly, polite and seemed to pack our furniture and belongings well. How wrong we were!!! We paid for a months storage and were told our belongings would be held in Belgium only to be told at a later date they were stored in U.K. We contacted PSS with a date we would like delivery only to be told as we were part of a consignment we would have to wait until they were able to deliver to the province/country that is now our new home. This cost us more money in rental fees as we couldn’t move into our new home unfurnished. After many phone calls, emails and many excuses we finally had a date for delivery. However a couple of days before our belongings arrived we were told we had to pay more money for customs duty on a motorbike we were shipping, but it was only an estimate and PSS would refund any over payment. If we didn’t pay our belongings would stay in U.K., so we had no choice but to pay. On the day of delivery we were very happy to be reunited with our belongings until the lorry was unloaded and we were 17 items/boxes missing. The heartache didn’t stop there, once we started to unpack we found many items broken, damaged, stained and smashed. We contacted the office immediately and told to complete an insurance claim and they would investigate the missing items. We had to constantly ring to chase updates but half the time staff were unavailable or didn’t call back or didn’t reply to emails. 3 weeks after our first delivery our remaining items/belongings arrived. We also sent many emails over several weeks and made phone calls to find out the exact amount paid to customs and requested a copy of the invoice. Eventually this was provided but were shocked to see we had been charged over 90% more than we needed to pay and PSS had made no effort to refund. It took 8 weeks of chasing to finally be reimbursed. We took out PSS extra insurance which cost £1500 only to be offered less than the items true value. After a fight we finally agreed a settlement figure, less their handling fee which meant we were reimbursed even less for our items. In hind sight we wish we’d never used this company for the sake of the money spent and the heat ache caused. BEWARE!!!!!!
