How to describe a perfectly organized and perfectly executed week building memories to last a lifetime. The attention to even the smallest detail made for a week of learning, feasting, sightseeing one to go down as our favorite trip ever. I asked my prior non cooking husband what he thought of the class about mid way through and he replied, “wonderful”! We are now home and he has a new interest and appreciation for all that happens in the kitchen. The staff was outstanding. Antonin, Fred and “French” Karen were simply the best. Each one in their own way were there for us every step of the way. They shared their expertise fully with wit, charm and always a smile. They worked hard and it was much appreciated by each of us who were lucky enough to have this week together in Uzes. The accommodations were not only gorgeous, but comfortable and fit the size of the class well. From day one the class became a unit. Prepping the food, chopping, dicing, peeling, deboning, stirring, tasting….. Yum….. Going to the markets and learning from our wise leaders, then home to “cook”. Outstanding!!!! We each remarked that there was a well thought out balance between marketing, cooking and fun excursions, the carriage ride and picnic topping it all. What could you do better? Nothing!
