I can completely understand Ronnies quick negative Review. Heres what happend. Since Jamba Juice is so small and theres all work trades at full force to meet deadline. We decided to go the extra mile for Ronnie and work nights to make it easier for both of us not to mention we are book solid all day shifts. That first night not everything was off the floor but we went ahead move things to get going. Upon starting the diamond grinding we see that its a false commercial grade concrete. Small Commercial projects and stripmalls like this one require 3000 + PSI . Ronnie mentioned it was 3500 PSI . When we see nothing but sand and the concrete becomes as soft as butter everything changes. Ee would have to do 4x the work to get 50% of the quality hard surface needed to polish the concrete. We were not going to pack up and call it quits until he agreed to pay more. We did what had to be done no matter what. We proceeded to strengthen the concrete surface by multiple grouting and concrete densifing applications. Finaly after 3 coats of polishing grout and 5 coats of densifing only half of 500 sqft the floor was strenghtend enough to run 100s grit and not see the floor fall apart. This one night commercial job has now turned into at least a 4-5 nights to strenghten , hone, polish ,seal and burnish. Anyone else would have ran the metal diamonds and ruined the floor. We never asked for more money we just informed of the problem along with the solution. I myself am doing this job because of the special case that it is. In his defense The not answering the phone was due to getting home after pulling and all nighter 19 hour double shift that day and all he saw is what looked like a cleaned and sealed concrete because of the stregthening we had to do.Im pleased to say that the police report was never filed and Ronnie is a happy man. May i mention also our price was 50% less than the next highest bidder and all we requested was to cover the extra materials needed and we would cover the extra labor. On top of that request it was only if he wanted to pay for them not a demand. The favor i was really asking was that since it was going to take longer i would have to break away for 3 days to start a warehouse job up in Dallas. We like to build relationships with contractors for future business and we are easy to work with. We will go the extra 10 miles if we have to because at the end of the day its our workmanship and word that matters. Thanks to all who read through. now let me call him and kindly ask him to confirm my response.
