Had a deck built with this company. It was a bad job from day one to it's completion. It is now complete and still has issues. Drill holes all over the place and not filled in. They had to replace boards and spinduals numerous times until they got it halfway right. The floor boards are long in some places and short in others. I would not hire this company ever again. Not even to build a dog house.
Mr. Barbaretta, It is unfortunate that you feel that way. We believe your frustration began shortly after you signed your contract and weeks before the project was even started. We were not willing to provide your insurance company with inaccurate contract information per your request. This became even more apparent when you emailed us “I hope you have lots of insurance if the deck collapses” the first day that we began framing.
We do feel as if we provided you with a great finished product and will stand by our work. You felt that way as well when you signed the Certificate of Completion stating that the project was completed to your satisfaction. When we attempted to collect the balance due, you had an issue that you wanted addressed. We came out and fixed that issue, but when we attempted to collect the balance of the project, there were new issues. We, once again, agreed to fix those issues with hopes we could still leave you satisfied with the finished product. You agreed to our list, and signed a document stating that once these tasks were resolved, you would pay your balance due. We resolved these issues within 2 business days but when we attempted to collect payment, there were new issues that you had. Unfortunately, we believe that no matter how many times we resolve your issues, you will continue to find new ones in an attempt to not fulfill your contractual obligations.
