I was going to keep quiet and leave no comments about my experience with Omaha handyman, but at six months or so after project completion I’m feeling dissatisfied enough to turn what would have been a four-star review into the fewest stars I could award. Long delays without contact frequently occurred, it made me feel like I needed to constantly be the project manager and advocate on my own project to get them finishing it. Several items that should be included with a shower remodel or possible up charges were totally not discussed or required me to make a stink to get them completed. • we tore out a shower surround down to studs. I had to push repeatedly to install new insulation, (~ $40 for materials. This wall will never be open again, why not do the extra minor work? • Despite detailing that I wanted new shower plumbing and a new cartridge in the wall tile folks were scheduled before plumbing tile guys showed up, looked and left. This replacement was completed, but again, I had to badger them to get it done and it took extra time without the one shower in my house. Update Post Installation: The tile surround has mortar in the corners of the shower that is cracking and falling out showing obvious gaps. I’m now concerned about water leaking behind my new tile.
