I purchased a 3-year subscription to The Near Future Report. I thought the research had a serious limited-view problem, and it turns out the particular editor is no longer with the company. My subscription was cancelled after the first year because apparently I didn't pay the yearly maintenance fee (which they call a yearly renewal fee--but if that's the case, why did I pay for a "3-year subscription"?). I received so many spammy email promotions that I had unsubscribed from the emails, which is probably why I didn't see any notices about paying the maintenance fee. I would have wanted to cancel the subscription anyway, but at this point they are saying no refunds (even partial). I recommend staying away from their services. Also--I lost money on the recommendations that the previous editor made.

Hi, Ralph. At Brownstone Research, we aim to provide positive experiences at all times. Please be advised that your subscription to The Near Future Report was ordered on 3/20/2022 with a 60-day money-back guarantee but was canceled after a year due to an unpaid yearly renewal fee. We’ve also released an update regarding our new editor, Colin Tedards, sometime around June 2023. Rest assured, we’ve included your email address in our Do Not Promote list. This means you won't receive any promotional or free emails from us moving forward. Please call us at (888) 493-3156 should you need more assistance.
