A superb experience from a friendly local with excellent English
Karwan's 5-day tour of Iraqi Kurdistan was a wonderful experience. Right from the beginning, he responded quickly and fully to all messages and answered all my questions and concerns, so I felt relaxed and prepared. His English is excellent, and he has a natural warmth and friendliness that make hisman excellent guide. Many moons ago he was a taxi driver in Erbil, as well as a school bus driver, so you're in safe hands with Karwan behind the wheel, and his knowledge of the region is excellent. The variety and beauty of the places we visited was excellent, and Karwan's tour struck the perfect balance between nature, history, spirituality and adventure. Moreover, there was the ideal amount to do every day without being overwhelmed, and the pace felt relaxed and very manageable. Karwan is interested to learn more about his clients, and it's refreshing to meet a guide who is not constantly talking or just spewing out facts and figures constantly. Rather, he offered a genuinely human touch to all the sites we visited, and his own experiences of growing up in this region make the experience of touring with him all the more poignant. I wholeheartedly recommend a tour with Karwan's company!
