Im an avid morning coffee and croissant lover. I planned my journey today and walked 5 minutes off course to grab a coffee from Mackbear and a croissant after a recommendation and the reviews off Google. Sadly, there were no croissants at peak rush hour 07:45 and no explanation from the staff as to why but just a plain "No we don't have them". It was such a shame because the pictures on the reviews looked amazing. What was even sadder was this caused me to have to grab a croissant from Tesco across the road, so overall a very disappointing morning. There wasn't even a packet of biscuits on offer but an abundance of 'protein' bars scattered across the front of the cake display. I do hope things improve before my next visit. Coffee on the other hand was grand.
