Mosaic, linked with Viridi for home improvement projects, relies solely on customer confirmation for project completion on their portal, as per our contract. I discovered Viridi falsely claimed to have finished my ADU plans, including city approval, which I found untrue upon checking with the city myself. Unfortunately, I had already confirmed completion on Mosaic’s portal, triggering fund release to Viridi. Attempts to address this with Mosaic were futile as they insisted the funds were for a solar panel project, not my ADU, suggesting possible fraud. It was only after filing a complaint with the DFPI that my loan was successfully canceled. I urge anyone in a similar situation to take the same action promptly.
