Pat Borgardt Mark gave me a quote to paint the ceiling of my lounge/dining area. He emailed me an estimate which I considered was excessive, given the simple nature of the job, which was less than a day's work. I emailed Mark advising I was unhappy with the estimate and asked if he could provide a better one. Mark did not respond to my email. I visited my regular paint shop. They provided the name of a painter they are very happy to recommend. I engaged the painter and his associate after accepting the quote. They arrived early, thoroughly prepared the area, used high quality paint and finished the work by lunch time, leaving my home clean and tidy and the ceiling looking great. I am totally delighted both with the professionalism of both painters and the end result. The quote and payment for the work was $269 less than what Mark wanted for the same job. It certainly paid me to shop around. I would happily recommend my painter and his associate to anyone.
