6 months and still waiting for my refund I booked a flight with E-Dreams in September of 2023 to fly in December. I paid an extra $116 for their cancel for any reason guarantee insurance in case I had to change my travel plans. I cancelled my reservation in October and it's been six months already and I'm yet to receive my refund. I have spent hours on the phone with their customer service on several occasions trying to get my money back but all I get are promises and no action. For the longest time they kept saying that they had sent the request for cancellation to the airline (Virgin Airlines) and were waiting for approval. A couple of weeks ago I got a new customer service representative who told me I should need the airline approval as I had purchased the cancel for any reason guarantee insurance. He said he had processed my refund and I would receive it within 5 business days. A week later I called again and the same customer services representative agent answered and said that there was some internal communications happening but that he would stay on top of my case and I would get my refund within a couple business days. It's been another week and I am yet to receive any communication from them, or even better, the nearly $1,000 they owe me. I did some research online and see that this has been common practice with many customers from this agency. I will never use their services again and hope this review can protect customers from making the same mistake I made in the future.
