I'm a lucky man! My wife and I moved to Punta Gorda three years ago and I needed to find a Cardiologist and I was lucky to find Dr. Ruggieri. The initial visit was interesting, to the point and honest about what he wanted to do for my condition. After a battery testing the news from Dr Ruggieri was kind of alarming. After many years visiting my cardiologist in New Jersey this new outlook for my health seemed overwhelming as to the depth of damage we were facing. Dr Ruggieri set a direction for care that has proven to be exactly what was needed and needed to be done now! There was some issues that were unexpected and some complications that Dr Ruggiero actually caught that could have been fatal without immediate intervention. Needless to say, he has the skills to see and correct the issues that nearly took my life, not once but two times in a year! I do what he tells me I need to work with and follow his guidance. Now three years invested my recent visit shows progress and I thank Dr Ruggieri, his staff at the office and the most helpful people I have been introduced to at HCA Cath Lab. This entire process has been rough but I'm still breathing and that is thanks to all the people who take care of all of us who wish to grow older with conditions that sometimes end badly. Thank God and all of the special people who work in the medical industry. Dr Ruggieri, from the bottom of my malfunctioning heart I owe you thanks for your help!
