I made an appointment for my son who has clinical depression. I was not told about paperwork in the phone call so I didn't know it was sent to my son. On the day of our appointment, I received a confirmation email so my son, not knowing about the paperwork, waited for an hour online. When I called, they told me about the paperwork. But it still doesn't explain WHY they send a confirmation if the appointment was cancelled. Wouldn't it make MORE sense to have a generic email letting you know that you missed something??? Anyway, we made another appointment on Friday and the office sent us the new paperwork. I watched my son fill it out and answered questions that he didn't know. Again, we get a confirmation-yay, it's on! NOOOO, again he waits an hour and no one shows-call the office and the office tells me that maybe he didn't do something because they have no paperwork. I watched him do the paperwork! If something didn't go through, how do we know?! How are we supposed to know what you are missing?! Instead, appointment cancelled again. He was so frustrated that he doesn't want to go back to therapy, so thanks a lot!!! Your practice actually made things worse for him-good job!
