WARNING FOR BOOKING.COM!!!!!!!!!! I unfortunately became the next victim of this fraud company!! Booked a hotel and received a link stating that I should provide information so that the booking would not be cancelled. Provided details and the link was sent from their site, which I double checked and all the details were correct (staff also confirmed the email for me) Then I was charged and as it said the hotel would draw a test sum so I didn't react , but strangely enough I did not receive a payment confirmation! When I canceled the booking a week later due to changed circumstances, I received a confirmation of a refund within about 14 days. But have waited 3 months now and received no help or explanation. Had to submit bank statement, but they do nothing to help me. I contacted the hotel directly, but they send me back to booking, but booking does not contact the hotel to resolve my situation. Instead, booking questions me if I've really been charged and says "what if you're trying to scam us" (despite the fact that I provided bank statements with a stamp from the bank). It is frustrating and annoying to be treated like this as a customer, have booked through them for several years, but will NEVER trust them again and I will warn everyone not to book through them!! It's not okay to scam people out of money like this!! You should be ashamed!!!
