We live in the Chicago area and have an Ipe deck, which we love. This spring, we had a terrible experience with a painter that thought he knew how to treat ipe. After he left the deck over-oiled and blotchy, I called Brazilian Wood Depot for advice and guidance to fix the problem. I spoke to Sam, who was extremely informative and helpful. Obviously, he and the crew at BWD know their stuff. I only wish they were in the Midwest so we could use them for future projects. Thanks, Sam! Also, they have a great collection of videos on YouTube.
