Consultation I reached out to Treat It for assistance with my epilepsy and the pain that follows my seizures. Additionally, I have a broken knee cap in four places and arthritis in my back, leading to constant pain. I have been relying on opiate-based pain medications for years, but recently discovered that cannabis is more effective for managing my knee and back pain. However, my attempts to seek treatment through Treat It were unsuccessful. During my consultation, the doctor displayed a lack of interest in understanding my medical issues and repeatedly instructed me to limit my responses to simple yes or no answers, without delving into the complexities of my conditions and treatment preferences. This dismissive attitude prevented me from accessing the potential benefits of cannabis-based treatment, despite my experiences indicating its efficacy for my pain management.
